Focused tunnel coaching for post-licence body-flight development

Training with a clear goal

One-to-one skydiving coaching in Spain.

For licensed skydivers: formation skydiving, freefly or canopy. One day, one goal and a clear next task.

The disciplines

Three disciplines. One way of working.

Formation skydiving

Flying relative to others: stable exits, levels, docks and awareness in a group.

Freefly

The sit and the transitions from a stable base, fall rate, levels and a safe break-off.

Canopy

The flight plan from opening to landing, traffic, accuracy and a calm decision when the plan changes.

The route

Post-Licence Coaching Route

One coaching day is one full operating day at the dropzone, following the plan you agreed.

Overview

You and Andrew choose a goal from your current skills and recent experience. After a break, recurrency or an assessment comes before goal-specific coaching. If a goal is outside Andrew’s competence or the dropzone’s permitted activities, it is adjusted, referred or declined.

Who it is for

Licensed skydivers with a training goal, whether you jump regularly or are coming back after a break.

Requirements
  • 18 or older, with a current or previously held skydiving licence to review
  • Your licence record and logbook; the dropzone checks their recognition
  • The current medical, insurance, equipment and recurrency rules apply
  • Readiness for the agreed goal, judged beyond licence level and jump count
Included
  • Andrew’s one-to-one coaching through the agreed operating day
  • A training plan based on your current skills and goal
  • Briefings, observation, debriefs and a look at your training footage when there is any
  • Notes on progress and your next training task
Excluded
  • Your jumps and other dropzone charges
  • Tunnel flight time and tunnel coaching, agreed separately
  • Travel, local transfers, accommodation and meals
  • Personal insurance, medical documents and equipment costs
Outcomes

The aim is progress on the agreed goal and a clear next training task. A particular skill level, a place in a group or a result within a set number of days is not guaranteed.

The training day

A full day around one goal.

  1. Andrew planning a training week on a tablet at a table beside the hangar

    Goal

    Choose the goal

Your current skills and one specific task that fits your experience.

  2. Student rehearsing an aircraft exit position on a hangar mock-up while Andrew coaches

    Briefing

    Brief the plan

The exercise, its sequence and how the result will be assessed.

  3. Student and instructor at the open aircraft door before exit

    Jumps

    Work on the skill

The task in the air and the plan adjusted as you learn; tunnel time is planned separately.

  4. A small group of international flyers gathered on a terrace at golden hour after training

    Debrief

    Agree the next step

The result and the footage when it exists; the next task written down.

The coach

Andrew Marushko

Andrew coaches formation skydiving, freefly and canopy flight and leads every day himself: the goal, the briefing, the jumps and the debrief.

Briefings and debriefs in English, Russian or Ukrainian; the dropzone and its paperwork use their own language, and we confirm it in advance.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

  • Which skills can I work on in coaching?

Formation skydiving, freefly and canopy awareness are the disciplines Andrew coaches; the specific goal is chosen after a review from your current skill, currency and awareness. Goals outside Andrew’s competence or the dropzone’s permitted activities are adjusted, referred or declined.

  • Is a skydiving licence from another country accepted?

A licence issued by another recognised association or country may be accepted after the selected dropzone’s recognition check. Bring the licence record and your logbook for review.

  • I have not jumped for a while. Can I still apply for coaching?

Yes. Licensed skydivers returning after a break can apply; the required recurrency or assessment comes first, under the selected dropzone’s rules, and goal-specific coaching begins once you are current.

  • Is there a minimum number of jumps for coaching?

No universal minimum applies. Licence level and jump count give context, but readiness for a goal is assessed separately from current skill, currency and awareness.
